Panch Karma Therapy Centre:

A Regular Panchkarma unit is functioning in the hospital which accepts patients for specialized treatment on payment basis under Revolving Fund Scheme of the hospital. Modest Facilities for Classical as well as Keraliya Panch Karma Therapies are available under supervision of experts.

Labour Room Services including Navajaat Shishu Paricharya:

These services are available round the clock including operative and neonatal care.

Operation Theatre:

Three operation theatres for Shalya ,Shalakya and Prasuti Tantra, is functioning after renovation equipped with all necessary and latest surgical equipments.

Laboratory Facilities:

Modern pathological laboratory is working for OPD and indoor patients with modest facilities for a range of haematological and biochemical investigations. (Details of diagnostic tests, investigations and their charges attached)

Radiological Services:

One 500 MA X-ray machine and Ultrasonography machine is available in the Ayurvedic wing of the hospital catering the need of the patients for Radio-Diagnosis purpose.

Ayurvedic Pharmacy:

Catering the needs of OPD and Indoor patients an Ayurvedic Pharmacy is functioning in the campus of Banaras Hindu University. Quality medicines described in classics are prepared for this purpose. Pharmacy has its retail counter in OPD block of SS Hospital to provide prescribed medicines to patients at no profit and no loss basis.

Coronary Care Unit-

Recently in Kaya Chikitsa ward under the supervision of Department of Kayachikitsa one beded coronary care unit has been started.

Dispensary:-

S.S. Hospital has an Ayurvedic Dispensary in OPD block to dispense the ayurvedic medicines to the poor patients free of cost under the supervision of qualified pharmacists. (Drug list attached)

Side Pharmacy

A side pharmacy is located in the hospital for free distribution of ayurvedic drugs to the indoor and outdoor patients and also to prepare decoctions for indoor patients. Following decoctions are available in the side pharmacy: -

5. Trinpanchmula kwath

7. Dashmool kwath

Kitchen:-

The Hospital has a kitchen for providing free diet and milk to the poor patients under the guidance of qualified Dietician.
