Brief introduction

Ours is a full fledged Department since 1988 with a tertiary care centre at one of the apex Institutes of the country for the diagnosis treatment, teaching, training and research in the field of tuberculosis, asthma, allergy, COPD and allied sciences. The Department which is serving the public for more than 35 years has a clinic to provide domiciliary treatment and has 30 indoor beds. The clinic has daily attendance of about 200 patients. Before 1988 it was a division in the department of Medicine. It's providing MD degree which is already recognised by the Medical Council of India.
