The school of nursing was upgraded to college of Nursing, on July 31,2009 offering 4- Year B.Sc.Nursing course ,with an annual intake of 60 students, under the Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Medical Sciences .It is functioning under the administrative guidance of the Director, I,M,S. The College of Nursing is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi & U.P.State Nursing &Midwives Registration council, Lucknow. It is attached to S.S. Hospital for clinical experience.

Student Admissions:

The students, both male and female are admitted through an entrance test.

The day today function of the college is supervised by the Principal supported by 6 nursing tutors.

The teaching activity is further supported by teaching faculty of various departments of I.M.S. & various faculties of the university, for teaching the concerned subjects.

The college has an independent building & hostel facilities
